Good morning. Boy, you must have been tired, you slept right through Breathing Tube 04.

I’ll bring you up to speed. It was FANTASTIC. The famous Breathing Tube Talkers Tim Thiibodeau and Cyrus Leddy hosted the night–everyone loved what those dudes were laying down–and we had 3 very different radio plays. There was a musical, a magical and a memoir.

Breathing tube is a night of radio theater performed extremely live at Perishable Theatre, Providence RI. It features short original works written by area writers. The line up was as follows:

It was the holidays, so we threw ourselves an fancy holiday picnic. Sue us. The night featured 3 holiday, christmas-y plays and also many hilarious sketches, performed by The Breathing Tube Talkers Peter Deffet, Nicole Maynard, Cyrus Leddy, and Alanna Sousa-Pullan.

We had songs too, which were sung traditional style, and also rapped, 90′s style. Our rapper for the night was a Mr. Roman Rok, and this is where you can find him http://romenrok.blogspot.com/ …Hm. That doesn’t show up as a link you can follow, does it. Well, just copy and paste it, alright? It won’t kill you.

Destefano on the Air! Episode 2: The Straight Men

This is the 2nd episode of my radio serial “Destefano on the Air!” What you see here is the first 3 parts. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard the 1st episode, it has nothing to do with this one so you can listen with a clear conscience. And there are more installments to come.

Part the One: You are introduced to Mischel Barry, podcast journalist. You are introduced to his sidekick and engineer Jim Kohler. They are trying to produce an awesome comedy podcast. They don’t.

Part the Two: Oh my god Mischel needs funding for his show! Only Steven DeStefano, patron of the “Destefano on the Air!” comedy podcast can help. But DeStefano turns out to be a paranoid, miserable weirdo. And what about DeStefano’s assistant Dustin: he seems charming, but is he charming?

Destefano On the Air! Episode 1: The Rescuer

Destefano on the Air! Has been developed in the RAPT (Resident Artist at Perishable Theatre) program in which performance artists develop new work over 1-3 years. Work in Progress showings throughout the development process provide invaluable feedback to the artists as they work toward full production.

The RAPT program is supported by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts.
